This website helped me analysing the car proposals in http://www.autoscout24.de/. That website is awesome, but is lacking some of the functinality which I needed:

You can't request e-mail notification if your search contains more than one car selection.
You can't get all of the search results on one screen and you can't export this list to Excel.
You can't automatically see the value of the car based on it's price, manufacture year and mileage.
You can't see what is the average price and detect overpriced and underpriced cars.

So here I'm trying to fix some of these problems. If you have another idea how this website can be improved - feel free to let me know.

500 search results at once

If you ever wanted to have all 500 search result displayed in pages to be shown on one screen, so that you can compate proposals from different pages to each other - here's how:

Step 1: Copy the URL of your search results of AS24 into a clipboard.
Step 2: Paste it into a URL field on top of this page and submit.
Step 3: See these nice results shown in one list like these.

If you ever want to get more than 500 results at once - contact me.

Do you think we need to retrieve the data from more sites, not just AS24? Then we can compare the data cross-sites. Let me know if you think this is useful.

Exporting to Excel

Well... this is not implemented yet, but it's pretty easy to do. Contact me if you need it.

Synthetical Value Analysis

Theory: the price of the car depends on it's age and mileage. The older the car - the lower the price, the larger the mileage - the lower is the price.

What if we multiply the price, age and mileage of the car and calculate such value for all cars in the list? We will a... number! This number means nothing on itself, but if we compare such numbers to each other then we can see the relative value of the car. You can specify the coeficients yourself - you may give more weight to the price or age, for example. The higher value means the car is older, has more mileage or inadequate price. This system will not make a decision for you, but hopefully it will help you to find the best price-value proposal.

Price Distribution Normal Curve Analysis

This is not done, but the idea is to display the normal distribution of the prices in your search result. This allows to see the average price as well as seeing how steep the amount of cars is dropping when the price goes higher or lower. Are there more cars in the search results that have lower prices than average or higher?
